This year I added a new con to the roster, and that was Rhode Island Comic Con.  It was the con's first year and they had a magnificent turn out.  Of course, being a new con they have some bumps they need to work out, i.e. traffic in the vendors' room with all the autographs and so on, and perhaps some of the event organizations.  The things that sort of sucked that were not the con's fault were the other events taking place in the convention center started setting up before the comic con was over and were not very nice about it.  They Beerfest folks would wonder through our event and look around, take pictures of the costumes and try to get in the rooms, but when we had to exit the con center, the security gave us a lot of crap for asking them to move their barricade so we could get out.  It was pretty awkward.   Also, the registration was a bit wonky, we bought tickets for each day, but just ended up getting a wristband, so we only needed one?

On the bright side, it was really great getting a full dose of the costumes I don't usually get to interact with.  I hung out with the crowd I don't usually get to spend time with as well, which was incredibly fun.  THey are a good, fun bunch of people who make some wonderful costumes and really bring them to life. The location of the con was great, there was a lot of available places to eat around, we didn't have huge liens of the restaurants, and got to spend some quality time with :iconidrinkdrpepper:  and some grand ol' villain time with :iconmischiefskhaleesi: in her fabulous Loki costume!  I also learned how competitive comic cons are costume wise, and that was a little bit off-putting, only for my personal opinion.  I heard some friends project that a lot of the same cosplayers win, and that really sucks for them since they make such amazing and elaborate costumes.

I shall consider this con in my planning for next year! Though, as pretty as the hotel was, I might not go overnight again since it is so close to home.  It was awesome of :iconshad0wth3fall3n: and his lovely lady to let us stay in their room.

AAC (Another Anime Con) got moved to a new location this year which worked way better than last year!  That is a fun con to just hang out and relax at, especially dinners with :iconenchantedcupcake: and :iconindienate: who took some awesome photos!  I also FINALLY got the amazing opportunity to work with the stunning :iconnikkinevermore: as Harley with myself as Lady Joker!  The heels were a bit of a struggle after having a broken my foot only 3 or four weeks prior, but that is what ice-packs are for <3.  TO all of Nikki's fans, you picked an awesome person to support.  She really knows her angles and makes a photoshoot relaxing and incredibly fun.  She is a great friend, awesome cosplayer, and an unbelievable human being!  Keep up the stunning work XD

As for 2013!

Katsucon is just around the riverbend! This is priobably my second favorite con and I am ready for all the excitement.  I really miss my One Piece broskis like :iconwhiskeypeak:, all the folks at East Blue Cosplay and the amazing folks at Baroque Works.  I hope to see you all and perhaps collaborate for some photos!  To the con, I plan on bring 4 costumes, two versions of Momiji from Binbougami-ga (nurse and God of misfortune) as well as Marineford Monkey D. Luffy and Pre Water 7 Nico Robin to match my boyfriend (Our Tiem Skip Brook and my Hades) in his Aokiji admiral's costume!

This year brings a lot of promising costumes, and good times with everyone in our bundle of misfits cosplay group with Movie Z versions of the STrawhats coming for AB and Otakon!

Hey everyone!  Kenae and I have returned from Otakon and I am considering making a dA for him, or just conjoining him with my account.  Either way, we made it home just in time for Kenae to get enough sleep for work!

Also, I have finally started using my tumblr, so follow me and I will return the favor!  It is : rouxcom.tumblr.com
Summing up ALLLLLL the days:

Friday:   Kenae and I kicked off the con with some Legend of Korra, Kenae debuting his Amon costume which we started the Sunday before and finished Wednesday morning!  Despite the lack of charcoal fabric, the black actually looked pretty slick.  I also want to thank :iconlo-botomy: for all the assistance.  That woman was a saint in keeping my sanity.  We walked around with our good friend Bob as Toph and got more attention than we expected.  I figured since there were already so many great Korra cosplays, we would just be derps.  Either way, it was a blast being in such a comfortable (albeit hot) cosplay.  We had a private shoot with Paul Karpey before rushing to change into some Tiger&Bunny where I cosplayed Kotetsu and Kenae cosplayed Nathan (Fire Emblem).  He was the only male one we saw there!  There was a girl who did a fabulous genderbent version and they took an adorable picture together.  We were accompanied by both Kurt and Erik and Ivan and Anthony.  It was cool when people approached us to tell us they loved how we did the odd characters (minus me).

Saturday: ONE PIECE, ONE PIECE and MORRRREEE ONE PIECE!  We kicked off the morning with the 11am shoot.  Our group had the giant blow-up Moria costume with us.  This is where the heat was killing us.  After cosplaying Luffy at mainly chilly cons, I did not have the foresight to bring extra duct tape.  So, hello near wardrobe malfunction. I had to beg Tom to sprint back to the hotel room and grab me the last of mine.  Kenae and I derped our way to the con center and were still asked for photos.  So, if you see me posing with my hat over my chest on the first level... that is why!  Later, with Kurt as Jinbei, we all met up and inflated Moria again.  It was really awesome seeing the responses to it all since we were so excited that Kurt and Greg were with us XD
Later, Kenae and I popped into T&B again and wandered the halls getting to see some friends we don't normally see.  This was followed my our annual dinner at Unos.

Sunday:  :icons0methingw1cked: and I wore our Ciel in Wonderland outfits and met a bunch of excited and fun Kuro fans.  Other than that? We browsed the Dealer's Room as a crew and headed home.

It was so awesome meeting so many people and seeing some old friends.  I hope everyone had a great time at the con and hope to see you all at AAC or Katsucon!

I just want to start by saying thank you to everyone who has been favoriting and supporting our One Piece cosplays!  I was in a land of little internet so I haven't been able to keep up with thanking all of you so I am trying to do it collectively!  Thank you all and I hope to stay in contact with everyone so we can nerd out together.  I hope to start going through and thanking everyone individually now that I am back XD

As for Otakon, it looks like Otakon is a firm "go" for my friends and I.  We will be joining the One Piece shoots on Friday and Saturday at the con and spending time with our amazing friends!  I can't wait to see everyone for our crazy dinner at Hooters and the awesome road trip down!  As for cosplays it is looking like:  Friday: Korra and Tiger&Bunny (with a little one piece sprinkled if I can)    Saturday: Time-Skip Monkey D. Luffy   Sunday: Super secret One Piece surprise!!!!

Hey everyone! I know it has been a while, but I thought I would pop in.  Anime Boston this year was absolutely fantastic.  We had an awesome ToraDora group on Friday after I did some photoshoots for friends. It was an evening of silly poses and panty shots!  Though, Saturday was probably the best day with one Piece in the morning and Tiger&Bunny in the evening.  My boyfriend Kenae and I were Luffy and Brook for the Time Skip One Piece group, and later Kotetsu and Nathan (Fire Emblem) later!  Sunday was an easy day of Megara and Hades again, since those costumes have proven to be so much fun.

I think I had the most fun in one piece.  It was a hectic, hectic morning with late trains and so much madness.  We managed to surprise our Geoffums :iconstatiscguru: with a completed Time Skip Franky to finish our group!  My boyfriend was the Brook, and he had so much fun in the costume, and I am so glad he could use his real afro, people just couldn't beleive it!  It was awesome seeing everyone at the OP shoot and their excitement.  Those photoshoots are my favorite because we all love the anime so passionately.  It is nice to nerd out with so many people.  Also, our Buggy, oh man, "GONNA BITE YO PE PEE!  DON'T SLEEP!"  It was excellent!  There will be more uploads later, for sooth!

Other updates:
So far, :iconstaticguru: and I are entered in the Otaku House contest and would love it if those of you who love our group's costumes would vote!
